Dunkin Donuts Decaf Coffee

For those of you that want to take a chance on decaf coffee, I suggest that you try Dunkin Donuts brand decaf.  Yes, it’s expensive.  But I find it mild enough to have one large mug in the morning as long as I eat my breakfast first and am careful to keep breakfast ’safe.’  Ummmm, it tastes so much better than the fake instant beverages I’ve been having!

Fell off the wagon!

Well, if I give myself an inch I take a mile. I decided to try a few suspected trigger foods back into my diet so that I could get some variety. I should have stopped with a few little pieces of tomato in my salad. Once I found out I had no issues with that, I started adding things right and left. Now I no longer know what exact addition is causing my relapse. Although I suspect it was the chicken fingers and fries. Yes, fried food. I had a few moments of insanity during which I convinced myself just once wouldn’t hurt. WRONG! I suffered for days. Not onnly was did my heartburn increase but I had wierd digestive ‘distress.’ I don’t think I can digest the fat while taking these PPI’s. It was almost like it came out the other end intact. Gas, misery and random ‘runs’ to the bathroom. Take it from me, don’t do what I did! It simply is not worth it.
