I may have been in denial for quite some time. I think my weight may be part of my GERD problem. I’m not fat. But, with age I have begun to put weight on around my stomach. Since not all fat is just under the skin, I now realize that the fat gathering for a party around the organs in my abdomen could be dancing on my stomach causing GERD attacks. So, I’ll be taking a lose weight approach to eating with GERD.
Anyone have any low fat meal ideas to share that can help with weight loss?

Have you heard of the book called “Dropping Acid: The Reflux Diet Cookbook & Cure”?? I bought it a few weeks ago and love it! The book contains GERD friendly recipes that were written by two docs and a french chef. Of course, some of the recipes are still on the bland side so they are GERD friendly, but it is not nearly as restrictive as some GERD diets/recipes!! All the recipes are healthy… Between eating smaller portions per meal and following some of the recipes in this book, I lost 5 pounds already!
